CRM is equipped with two specific tensile machines (INSTRON 250 kN and 50kN with load cells down to 1kN) able to perform various tests (compression, tensile, shear, bending) such as:

• Direct bending test of some construction or formed elements such as ceiling grid
• Elementary measurements of the mechanical characteristics of specific parts of the structure, especially at assembly points (spot welds, bolts, screws, etc), to feed a numerical model of the complete structure
• Detailed characterization of adhesive bonds in glued assembly solutions
• Shear test of composite panel
• Behaviour of coatings upon metal deformation°
